🔍 Why were some ancient texts hidden, buried, or banned?
The Gospel of Mary, the Book of Enoch, the Gospel of Thomas, the Gospel of Philip… these and others were excluded from the biblical canon, labeled heretical, or forgotten altogether. But why?
Because they didn’t just tell stories.
They empowered individuals to look within.
They spoke of personal connection to the Divine… not dependent on priests, temples, or rules.
The Gospel of Thomas, for example, opens with this bold declaration:
“Whoever discovers the interpretation of these sayings will not taste death.”
This is not about fear or punishment.
It’s about awakening.
Many of these texts point inward — toward the divine spark, the Christ consciousness, the Logos within. They suggest that we are not separate from God, but emanations of the same Source. And that? That changes everything.
It’s no wonder institutions suppressed them. A spiritually empowered humanity is not easy to control.
But these writings are resurfacing.
Not to stir rebellion — but to invite revelation.
✨ You are the temple.
✨ The sacred texts live in you.
✨ You don’t need permission to seek truth.
At Divine Harbor, we honor these lost voices — not as forbidden, but as forgotten pieces of our own story. Their return is part of a greater remembering… one that you’re already a part of.
