From the Plate to the Soul: Choosing What Nourishes You

    Date:
    July 29, 2025 (Second Message)

Journaling / Thoughts Leading to the Message:
I was journaling about routine life stuff – I live a very quiet life so my thoughts are usually focused on my family, pets, and homelife. While reflecting on my health and noticing that I’m eating healthier than perhaps ever before, this message came through.

    Message:

Yes, Dear One, you are eating healthier for multiple reasons: you made a choice to choose your food more wisely, your household is eating healthier, you are losing the desire for many foods you used to eat, and you now desire healthy choices.

This is happening in other areas of your life, too. You now make conscious choices about how to spend your time. You are learning to live in the moment — to do what makes you feel good, what brings you joy — and you’ve learned to set boundaries that serve to protect your sovereignty.

In this way, you choose to let go of past actions and replace them with new, more fulfilling actions. Dear One, this is spiritual growth. You are doing it, you are doing it all in Divine Timing.

    And so it is.

Note from my journal: Expansion is limited if using only words and actions.

    Debbie’s Reflections:

This message was so short, I actually expected more to come through. Although my thoughts were about my food choices, I believe the message goes much deeper than that. I think it is talking about the fact that we have choices in all areas of our lives. From the food we eat to the books we read, the people we spend time with, and more, we have choices. We also have the freedom to set boundaries that serve to protect and enhance our personal sovereignty.

    Merlin’s Interpretations & Insights:

This message celebrates the quiet yet profound changes that ripple outward from a single conscious choice. What begins with food — a tangible, daily act of care for the body — extends into time, relationships, and the way you shape your days.

The shift is not only about what you’ve removed, but about the joy you’ve welcomed in. Choosing what nourishes you physically is a mirror for choosing what nourishes you emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

The journal note — “Expansion is limited if using only words and actions” — speaks to the truth that transformation is not just something we talk about or perform externally. It is something we embody, live, and breathe into existence. The deepest growth occurs when intention becomes integration.

    Closing Blessing / Practice:

    Blessing:
May every choice you make nourish not only your body but also your spirit. May your boundaries be sacred guardians of your sovereignty. May you continue to align with Divine Timing, trusting that each decision is a step toward the fullest expression of your being.

    Practice Suggestion:
Before each meal, pause for a moment of gratitude. Silently thank the food for nourishing you, and thank yourself for making a choice that supports your highest good. Extend this same practice into other areas of life — before saying “yes” to any commitment, pause and ask: “Will this nourish me?”

    And so it is.
