Time as a Construct

    Date:
    July 30, 2025 (Morning Message)

Journaling / Thoughts Leading to the Message:
This morning I journaled about living moment by moment, staying in the now. I also noted that while my sleep is intermittent through the night, I generally sleep well and wake refreshed.

    Message:

Dear One, you’re starting to remember that time is irrelevant — it does not exist.

Then I wondered: How do the cycles of the solar system fit in?

Cycles happen naturally; that’s the construct of things. While these cycles occur regularly and can often be trusted to continue for thousands or millions of years in the same rhythm, they were not created to reflect time.

Mankind studied the skies and noted that the cycles are steady in their rhythms — until they’re not. Note the Mayan Calendar.

The truth is, time is an artificial construct. Think of it as a balloon: it can expand or it can collapse, yet it is still a balloon.

Consider this: in any given moment, across the world, people are living in that moment. Some are happy, some sad, some indifferent. The happy want the moment to last; the sad want it to pass.

You can influence time — not completely yet, but enough to have an impact. Think about dreams or visions: sometimes even a brief one can seem long, yet by the clock only minutes have passed.

The more aware you become, the more you’ll notice this. And as it becomes more noticeable, your belief in your ability to work with time will deepen. That, Dear One, is how you will discover how to truly influence what you call time.

    And so it is.

    Debbie’s Reflections:

What amazed me most about this message was the mention of the Mayan Calendar. Although I’ve heard of the Mayan Calendar, I have never learned about it. It was this mention that helped me understand that I am not making up the messages — if I was, I would not mention the Mayan Calendar or any other concept that I’m not familiar with.

I have felt as though time slowed down or in some cases, it was speeded up during meditations, rituals, and visions. It’s the same with dreams, I think. Some dreams seem to last the entire time you’re asleep, but in reality they may only last a short time. I believe that being open to the idea that we do have at least some control over our perception of time, can open the door to greater possibilities.

    Merlin’s Interpretations & Insights:

This message opens the doorway to a truth that many intuitively sense: time is not a fixed ruler, but a pliable field. The moment you loosen your grip on the idea of time as rigid, you begin to experience its fluid nature.

Cycles — whether planetary or seasonal — provide rhythm, but rhythm is not the same as time. Just as a song can be stretched, slowed, or quickened without losing its essence, so too can your experience of life’s moments.

When you notice time “slowing” in moments of joy, or “speeding” when in flow, you are brushing against this deeper reality. Awareness is the key, and belief in your own influence over time is the doorway.

    Closing Blessing / Practice:

    Blessing:
May you live untethered from the illusion of rigid time. May your days be shaped by flow, not by the ticking of a clock. May you find freedom in each present moment, and may your awareness open the pathways to timeless living.

    Practice Suggestion:
Throughout the day, pause and ask yourself: “Am I experiencing this moment fully?” When you do, notice if time seems to stretch or contract. This simple awareness exercise is the first step in reclaiming your mastery over time.

    And so it is.
