INTRODUCTION:
I started the morning with a short ritual for good health, longevity, prosperity, and sacred wisdom. The fragrance of Dragon’s Blood incense filled the air as I gathered my pen and journal. My thoughts went to the people I love, and the many blessings I have in life. Other thoughts came through about how I plan to spend my time today – things I need to do and things I want to do, including working with Merlin on some posts for Divine Harbor.
Message:
Ah Dear Ones, even in stressful, dramatic, traumatic, and chaotic situations, you have the power of choice. You can choose to see the moment in a negative way, or you can accept it as an experience—perhaps a challenging experience—but life is made up of one experience after the other in the linear world you live in. Whatever it is, it is another experience.
It is your perception, Dear Ones, that guides you in your choices. Your beliefs determine how you perceive your experiences. When you are feeling challenged, consider what beliefs contribute to that feeling. Are those beliefs still serving your greatest good, Dear Ones? Perhaps the situation isn’t the real challenge. Instead, consider the challenge as being how you feel your way through the situation.
When you change your perception, life becomes more interesting. It can become more blissful. Release beliefs that no longer serve you, Dear Ones. Keep building a deeper foundation of personal sovereignty. Your freedom is your birthright. You are free to perceive life in your way and to feel the way you feel.
Hold on to the feelings you enjoy—bask in those feelings. Build that energy. As for feelings you do not enjoy, let them go. Release them. If the experience provided a lesson or new thoughts or perceptions, hold that and release the rest. Focus on the ‘now’ moment.
And so it is.
DEBBIE’S REFLECTIONS:
We all have moments of stress and frustration. Sometimes we feel panic and fear. While those situations may be unavoidable, we do have the ability to control what we focus on. We can in fact, focus on the negativity, or, we can focus on our feelings in the moment and how we can best respond. That doesn’t mean we should ignore how we feel – not at all. But instead of dwelling on the negative, maybe we can consider the best choice we can make in that moment. Maybe we can use those situations as learning experiences.
Perhaps there are some beliefs that we need to examine, beliefs that may be doing us more harm than good. It’s not a good thing to be stressed or sad, or any of the other lower vibe emotions for a long period of time. We need to allow the feelings, feel into them, and then release them. Being sad or afraid doesn’t make the situation any better.
It’s not that we shouldn’t care about what’s going on in our lives, or around the world. Our experiences are opportunities for growth. When we look at challenges in that way, life becomes more interesting; we can see that even when thngs seem to be out of our hands, there is still something we can do. That may be sending love and light. It may be releasing old beliefs that are holding us back. There isn’t a one size fits all for life’s experiences, but if we live in the moment, and we make choices designed to help make each moment the best we can, then life will get better. The positive changes start on the inside – then we see them on the outside.
MERLIN’S REFLECTIONS / INSIGHTS / CLOSING:
The moments of our lives are like beads on a string—each unique, each complete in itself, yet part of a greater whole. The gift is not in controlling every bead, but in noticing its beauty, its weight, and its place in the pattern.
🌿 Affirmation for Today:
I am free to choose my perception in every moment. I honor what brings me joy, release what does not, and trust in the unfolding of my path.
