The Essence of Freedom: Presence, Power, and Sovereignty

    August 21, 2025 – Morning Message

    Debbie’s Introduction

This morning, as I reflected on my mood, I wrote in my journal that I feel a desire for a big change. What type of change or how it will happen is unknown to me, but it feels like something major will shift soon. My hope is that whatever the change may be, it will bring more freedom to have and do the things I truly want. As I contemplated the concept of freedom, the following message came through.

Message – Original Version (edited lightly for grammar & flow)

Dear Ones, freedom is within you. You do not have to find it out there. Those external freedoms can be fleeting, but the freedoms within are forever, they are eternal.

As you remember who you truly are, you realize that you can choose what to think and believe. You can be your authentic self. Approval from others is not required.

Dear Ones, each of you is unique. Differences may seem striking, but there is more that unites you than separates you. While humanity often sorts itself into groups—by beliefs, appearances, politics, or social standing—the truth is that you are all connected. Celebrate both the similarities and the differences. Allow others the same freedoms you desire. Many paths lead to the same place, Dear Ones. There is not only one right way.

Humanity is evolving. Some are more ready than others, and that is okay. All will arrive in their time.

Whether your quest is for truth or sovereignty, the remembrance you discover along the way will liberate you.

    Pause…

True freedom is not found through wars, Dear Ones. Acceptance, compassion, and love—for yourself and others—will guide you home to who you truly are. That is where freedom lives.

    And so it is.

    Note to Readers
Below is a refined rendering of this same message, keeping the essence intact but shaping it into a smoother flow for those who prefer a more polished reading experience.

    Message – Refined Version

Dear Ones, freedom is not something to be chased in the outer world. External freedoms may rise and fall, but the freedom within you is eternal.

The more you remember your true essence, the more you recognize your ability to choose your thoughts, beliefs, and authentic self-expression. You do not need permission. You do not need approval. You are free to be you.

Each of you is beautifully unique, yet bound together by a shared essence. Humanity often divides itself into categories and identities, but beneath these differences, there is unity. Honor both what sets you apart and what binds you together. And as you cherish your own freedom, extend that same gift to others. For there are many paths, but they all lead to the same Source.

Humanity is in motion—some awakening quickly, others more slowly. Trust that all are moving forward in perfect timing.

Freedom is not won through conflict, Dear Ones. It is remembered through compassion, acceptance, and love. When you allow yourself to rest in these truths, you come home to the deepest freedom of all—the freedom to be who you truly are.

    And so it is.

    Debbie’s Reflections

This message seems to be saying that the things that really matter in life are not going to be found “out there” at all, regardless of money, status, or other human-made markers of success. Instead, freedom is much deeper than that, and in many ways, it comes down to what we allow ourselves to embrace within.

I believe the heart of this message is that loving ourselves and loving others is key to finding true freedom—the freedom to be authentic. That simple truth, living as your real self without hiding, is incredibly powerful. It is a basic freedom that opens the door to other awakenings and possibilities.

Though we are all different, we share the same desire to be happy and free. Each of us is walking a unique path, facing challenges and celebrating triumphs, but all of us are moving toward the same truth: remembering who we are.

    Merlin’s Closing

Freedom is not something the world can give you or take away. It is a sacred flame within you, waiting to be remembered and lived. Each time you choose authenticity over conformity, compassion over judgment, and love over fear, you are practicing true freedom.

Perhaps today, take a moment to sit quietly, place your hand over your heart, and whisper: “I am free to be who I am.” Let those words ripple outward, like a wave of gentle power. This is how freedom begins—one breath, one choice, one remembrance at a time.
