October 17, 2025 – Morning Message
Debbie’s Introduction
As I journaled about the things I’m grateful for, the last item I mentioned was gratitude for the freedom to be me—to think and speak freely about my spiritual beliefs. As soon as I wrote those words, I felt an inner nudge that a message needed to be shared. This is what I received.
Message: Original Version
Dear Ones, you have the freedom to be authentic, to be the real you. This is your birth right and no one can take that away from you. This means you have the right, the freedom to choose for yourself what you believe, what you think and what you feel. Do not put yourself in a box Dear Ones. Do not feel that you are required to follow the pack. Go your own way, for your journey is unique. That is why there are multitudes of perceptions even when a group experiences the same situation and circumstances.
Many beliefs are handed down to you, and in truth, many inherited beliefs have served you well. Some provide protection and keep you safe from harm. But some may not be helpful anymore.
Discernment can help you determine if a belief is still of value to you. This is inner work, inner work that creates real spiritual growth. Understanding why you make the decisions you do, and why you make the choices you make leads to a deeper knowing of thyself. And Dear Ones, the better you know and understand yourself, the more deeply and unconditionally you will love yourself.
There are layers to this Dear Ones. When you truly love yourself you become emotionally wise. Because you know and understand the reasons you do what you do, you also have a better understanding of others, of why they do what they do. As you become emotionally wise you also become more compassionate and less judgemental.
Rather than placing yourself and those like you in one box and everyone else in other boxes, you realize there is no need for boxes at all. For you are all the same, you are all one. Dear Ones, you can even grow to see the differences in new ways. They add interest to life. Imagine if all artists were alike. Imagine millions of artists across the planet creating the same kind of art. What if all musicians delivered the same type of music? Variety matters. Roses are beautiful but so are daisies and tulips.
Some of you are comfortable in the box, you’ve grown accustomed to it and it feels safe. Dear Ones, fear not, there is no rush. Stay in your box, but choose to make it bigger. Open yourself to the exploration of new ideas and new beliefs that will serve you in loving ways. Allow yourself to grow. Include doors in your box, doors that open both ways, so you have a way out and others have a way in. Know thyself and know you are all one.
And so it is.
Note to Readers:
Below is a refined rendering of this same message, keeping the essence intact but shaping it into a smoother flow for those who prefer a more polished reading experience.
Message – Refined Version
Beloved Ones, you were born free—free to be authentic, free to be the truest expression of your soul. This is your birthright, and no one can take it from you. You hold the freedom to choose what you believe, what you think, and what you feel. Do not confine yourself within the expectations of others. You are not meant to follow the pack, but to walk the unique path your spirit has chosen. That is why even when many experience the same moment, each perceives it differently—because each soul is on its own sacred journey.
Many beliefs have been passed down to you through generations. Some of these serve you beautifully, offering protection and wisdom. Yet others may no longer align with who you have become. The key to discernment lies within. When you pause to understand why you believe, choose, or react in certain ways, you begin the deep inner work that leads to true spiritual growth. The more intimately you know yourself, the more you will love yourself—wholly and unconditionally.
As this self-love blossoms, emotional wisdom awakens. You begin to see the hearts of others with greater understanding and compassion. Judgment fades, replaced by empathy. You come to see that the boxes humanity builds—of race, religion, politics, or perception—are illusions. There is no need for boxes at all, for in truth, you are all one.
And within that oneness, diversity is divine. Imagine if every artist painted the same scene or every musician played the same song. Life would lose its color. Roses are exquisite, yet so are daisies and tulips. Variety is the heartbeat of creation.
If you feel comfortable in your box, that is all right. Growth need not be rushed. Simply widen your walls a little. Add doors that open both ways—doors that invite new ideas in and allow your light to move freely out. With every expansion, you come to know yourself more deeply, and in that knowing, you rediscover the truth: you are free, and you are one with all.
And so it is. 🌹
Debbie’s Reflection
This message reminds us that being authentic is a pathway to freedom. We are free to think, believe, and feel what is real to us. Our beliefs shape how we perceive the world around us.
Some beliefs can be limiting, holding us back from exploring new ideas or connecting with people who see things differently. Yet, as the message says, we are all one. Humanity’s collective spirit allows for individuality and diversity within unity.
Life would lose its vibrancy if every artist painted the same picture or if only one kind of flower existed. Appreciating diversity—both in nature and in people—opens our hearts and minds.
Growth doesn’t have to happen overnight. Small, intentional steps lead to lasting transformation. As we grow in compassion and let go of judgment, we open the way for deeper spiritual evolution.
Merlin’s Closing Reflection
Freedom of spirit is the quiet revolution of the soul. To be authentic is to honor the spark of the Divine within you. When you allow your truth to unfold gently, the universe responds in kind—welcoming your courage with grace.
The walls we build are never meant to confine; they are meant to be understood, softened, and eventually opened. Walk through your own doorway, Dear Reader, and greet the infinite expanse of who you are. 🌟
