For many years, I walked what I considered a purely spiritual path — seeking connection with my higher self, spirit guides, and the divine. Meanwhile, my brother was exploring what some might call the paranormal — investigating haunted spaces, unexplained phenomena, and the lingering presence of unseen energies.
At first glance, these paths might seem different. But when you look closely you can see how deeply aligned they really are.

Whether you’re tuning into angelic frequencies or sensing the energy of a spirit lingering in an old house, both spiritual and paranormal paths require one core ingredient: belief in something beyond the visible world.
They both ask us to listen beyond the noise, feel beyond the surface, tune into the energy and trust our intuitive senses.

Mediums, Reiki practitioners, empaths, psychics, paranormal investigators — all of these are energy workers in some form. They navigate the liminal spaces between realms, tuning into frequencies that others often dismiss.
Whether you’re clearing a space energetically or calling in light beings during ritual, you’re working with invisible yet intelligent forces.

To walk either path is to risk being called “too much” or “too out there.” It takes courage to speak about experiences that can’t be measured in standard terms. And it takes curiosity to keep going when the answers are not immediate.
What I’ve learned through my own journey — and through my brother’s — is that these paths are not separate at all. They’re just different doors into the same great Mystery.
The bottom line is, we’re all trying to understand what lies beyond the veil — and no matter how we get there, the journey is sacred.
