Choose Happiness

    September 18, 2025 – Morning Message

    Debbie’s Introduction

This morning I woke up happy. I love the view outside my bedroom window. The leaves on the tree are turning shades of gold, orange, and red, and the sun is filtering through. It’s a warm, beautiful day. I journaled about that, and then the following message came.

    Message: Original Version

Dear Ones, today’s message is a simple one, it can be summed up in two words: be happy. Ask yourself, are you happy? How often do you allow yourself to be truly happy?

If you don’t feel worried or stressed, do you wonder why—do you question it? Dear Ones, happiness is possible, and you have every right to be happy.

Like other things, true happiness begins within. What is meant by true happiness? That is a state of being where the middleground is happy, the highground is extremely happy, and the lowground is slightly happy, followed by less than happy. Other emotions are possible, but they are not included in this range.

Just as the embodiment of love begins within, so too does happiness.

True happiness is not fleeting. It is an underlying feeling that is always there, helping to hold you in a state of higher frequency. Most messages like this focus on emotions like compassion, gratitude, forgiveness, or love—and those messages are true and relevant. But what about happiness? What about giving yourself the freedom to be happy, the permission to allow yourself to be happy?

Now you might say you can’t do that because you have worries, or you’re experiencing difficulties in your life right now. We could transition into a talk about how you create your reality, but we won’t—not now. Just hold that thought.

Let’s focus on how this ties in with being happy. The big picture is simple: you create what you think you want, what you believe will make you happy, and when it materializes, you are happy—at least for a moment. Notice the connection to thoughts and beliefs.

Dear Ones, we have spoken many times about thoughts, beliefs, and perceptions. You have the power to believe and think what is true for you. Release what no longer serves you. Allow yourself to be happy.

How, you might ask? Be present. Live in the now. Live in the moment. And moment by moment, choose what will make you happiest. You are worthy, Dear Ones.

Always be kind, always let your love radiate outward, and always hold onto that inner place of happiness that allows pleasure in the mundane, in things and situations that may go unnoticed by others. True happiness is a choice, Dear Ones.

Choose to love, choose to forgive, choose to be grateful and kind, and choose to be happy.

    And so it is.

    Note to Readers

Below is a refined rendering of this same message, keeping the essence intact but shaping it into a smoother flow for those who prefer a more polished reading experience.

    Message: Refined Version

Dear Ones, today’s message is a simple one: be happy.

Pause for a moment and ask yourself—are you happy? How often do you give yourself permission to rest fully in that state? Sometimes, when life feels calm and worry-free, you may even find yourself questioning it, as though happiness is too good to be true. But happiness is possible, and more than that, it is your birthright.

Like love, true happiness begins within. It is not a fleeting burst of joy or a temporary high. Rather, it is an inner foundation, a steady current that holds you at a higher frequency no matter what life presents. In its fullness, happiness becomes a spectrum: at the center, a quiet contentment; at its height, radiant joy; and at its lower edges, even in challenge, a gentle peace that keeps you from falling into despair.

Many messages speak of gratitude, compassion, forgiveness, or love—and these are essential. Yet happiness, too, deserves your attention. It is not indulgence, but freedom. It is not escape, but truth.

Yes, worries exist. Yes, life has challenges. And while those are real, they need not strip away your right to happiness. Remember, your thoughts, beliefs, and perceptions are powerful creators of the world around you. When you shift what you believe, you shift what you experience.

So how do you cultivate happiness? By being present. By choosing, moment by moment, what brings light to your heart. By noticing beauty in the ordinary and allowing joy in the small things others might overlook.

Happiness is not something earned. It is a choice available to you in every moment. Choose it often. Choose it freely. Choose it as an act of love.

    And so it is.

    Debbie’s Reflection

The message reminds us that happiness doesn’t have to be something we chase—it can be our natural state of being. When we choose, moment by moment, to follow what brings us joy, we build a baseline of happiness. That foundation helps us move more easily out of low-frequency emotions and return to higher ones.

It also reminds us that we do create the reality that surrounds us. Our reality is shaped by our thoughts, beliefs, and perceptions. We have the choice to shift those, and when we do, we shift our experience of life.

The heart of the message is freedom: we are free to choose. We can choose to be happy.

    Merlin’s Closing Reflections

Happiness is one of the most underestimated spiritual practices. People often see it as a reward for outer circumstances rather than a state of inner sovereignty. Yet happiness is deeply connected to your creative power. When you choose happiness, you align with the frequency of creation itself.

Happiness is not denial of pain or hardship—it is a way of walking through them with lightness, with trust, and with the remembrance that joy is your essence. To choose happiness is to honor the Divine spark within you.

So today, choose to be happy—not as a fleeting mood, but as your foundation. Let happiness be your quiet revolution.
