There is a veil over our eyes, but even more powerfully, there is a lens through which we perceive ourselves, others, and the Divine. That lens is shaped by memory, conditioning, trauma, belief systems, and cultural frameworks. Before we can fully step into sacred remembrance, the lens must be cleansed.
Sacred preparation involves dissolving the distortions that limit our ability to see clearly. It does not mean striving for perfection — it means releasing misperceptions and allowing the truth to rise within. This is a gentle process. It can happen in a moment of grace, in stillness, in grief, or even in laughter.
What if your truest self isn’t something to become — but something to remember?
You are not broken. You are not lost. You are not separate from God.
You are simply in the process of seeing clearly.
And every act of love, every prayer, every breath in presence… is a polishing of the lens.
