Debbie’s Dream
I woke up from an interesting, but strange dream so as soon as I could, I grabbed my journal to write about it. I was feeling very happy. The sun is shining and everything seems just as it should be.
In the dream I was either in a hotel or small apartment. Some of my family members were around, and I knew that others were close by. I peeked out of a crack along the door and peered into a shared hallway. I saw a baby crawling and I felt panic, then I saw her father and others following her. Suddenly, I was in a shared area in the same building. It seemed to be a space for gatherings. Food was available and several people were there.
A man much younger than me leaned in and said in a charming way, “You’ll marry him.” I just looked at him and smiled. I am married, so that statement seemed like a joke. Then he looked at another man, a man about my own age, and said, “She didn’t say no.” At that moment I saw that the older man was a friend from high school days. Then I woke up.
