Debbie’s Introduction
The concept of ‘the veil’ has always intrigued me. I’ve wondered if it truly is just a type of energetic barrier. Could it be that energy itself is what separates the 3D world from higher dimensions? And if that’s true, if we can move through that barrier, what will we find on the other side?
For me, meditation and other spiritual practices open the way for the deep connection that seems to lift the veil. But honestly, I’m not sure which comes first, a belief in higher dimensions and all that they hold, or the belief in the divine spark within. Maybe it doesn’t matter. Maybe the two concepts are so closely connected that one brings about the other.
It seems that moving beyond 3D is the key to spiritual awareness, to the discovery and remembrance of who we truly are. And as the energy of the world changes, the veil seems to be thinning, making it easier to access that Divine connection. Could it be that ‘the veil’ is not really a thing, but something to experience?
Understanding the Veil
There is a thinness to life that many of us sense but cannot fully explain. We often call it “the veil”—that subtle boundary between the seen and unseen, the physical and spiritual. It can be thought of the metaphorical barrier that separates the divine from humanity, the barrier that separates humanity from spiritual understanding. As more light comes into the world, the veil is thinning.
The veil is not something reserved for mystics and seers. It surrounds us always, sometimes thick and quiet, sometimes so thin we can almost reach through. At dawn and dusk, in dreams, in moments of awe, the veil softens. During times of heightened spiritual energy the veil thins These are moments when we catch a glimpse of eternity.
This experience is profound. It is the experience of moving between dimensions. This ability is not reserved for the few, it is possible for all. However, it is often associated with those with heightened awareness. To live “between worlds” is not strange—it is natural to the soul.
Spiritual practices can lead to a thinning of the veil. Practices such as prayer, meditation, and rituals can help in the connection with the spiritual realm. Begin with an intention to connect with the Divine. The connection may provide guidance and deeper understandings of spiritual concepts.
You are both body and spirit, both grounded and infinite. When we honor this, life becomes a bridge. We become aware that heaven and earth are not separate realms, but interwoven threads in the same tapestry.
A Simple Start:
This evening or at dawn, step outside. Spend five minutes in the liminal light. Breathe slowly and imagine yourself standing in both worlds at once. Notice how the air feels different, how your thoughts shift, how peace enters. This simple practice opens the heart to the unseen.
The veil is not a wall. It is an invitation to remember that you are more than you appear.
